Conveniently located in the Miami University community of Oxford, you are only minutes away from cheering on your favorite university sports team or attending an art gallery opening. Independent Living residents at The Knolls of Oxford can enjoy meals in two locations: The Byline Bistro or the Clubhouse Restaurant.
Residents may choose to pay per meal or select our convenient dining pass option allowing them unlimited access to lunches in the Bistro and dinners in the Clubhouse.
Guests are also welcome to dine in these venues and will pay the current food rate.
Founded in 1995, WMKV has been a national leader in big bands, the Great American Songbook, standards, classic radio comedies and dramas, and oldies, plus important information and weather from Local 12 News! Our studios are located within Maple Knoll Village in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we strive to be your one-stop for the Golden Age of Radio and music.
At the Knolls of Oxford, we want our residents to look as good as they feel! With a fully equipped salon conveniently located on campus, our staff ensures you will always look your best! The newly renovated Hair Salon is open to all residents and includes hair, nail, and waxing services.
The Hair Salon is open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Appointments are required for all residents.
At the Knolls of Oxford, we believe that the best way to improve community life for our residents is by listening to the residents themselves. Residents have the opportunity to be involved in the Resident’s Council.
This council comprises various committees focused on dining, safety, technology, hospitality, and activities. Residents work with staff in these committees to provide suggestions to improve campus life. These suggestions are reviewed monthly and passed on to the administration.
Residents also have the opportunity to join various independent clubs on campus, such as the art club, writing club, book club, bible study, horticulture club, and much more!
Our community is full of active and lively adults passionate about staying healthy. Residents can try different resident-led wellness classes at the Clubhouse during the week and utilize many area fitness centers conveniently located close to The Knolls of Oxford campus.
The Knolls of Oxford is non-denominational. We offer a variety of Spiritual Life Services to our community, such as pastoral care, worship, and education.
Our Pastoral care program includes visits to skilled nursing residents, sacred rites and clinical assessments, counseling and spiritual direction, hospital visits, Christian wholeness ministry, end-of-life bereavement care, the “praying hearts” prayer chain, spiritual care volunteer programs like the chaplain aide visitors, and compassionate companions.
